Apple: January 2006 Archives

It's all based on DOS...

I actually had the following conversation today:

WINDHEAD: (Showing me a flimsy, black usb-mouse)
- Look! It's a mouse! It's got two buttons...

MACHEAD (ME): (Not at all impressed.)
- Err... That's nice... Apple has had a two-button, scrollwheel mouse on the market for a long time...

WINDHEAD:
- Like what, a little under a year!?

MACHEAD (ME):
- Yup. Besides, if you want to talk about mice, you should keep in mind that Apple was the first to through in a mouse, long before Microsoft ever knew what one was, at least...

SMART GUY:
- Ah, it's all based on dos, anyways..!

It's Going Through Changes

Steve Jobs

My Mac, that is... The one thing that's been bugging me about my mac lately, has been my Dock... It looked a bit like the colors of the old Apple-logo. And that's a no-no.. :)

Macworld: The last post in the old world...

Ok, I'm only a few hours away from wanting something new... Whatever Steve Jobs pull out of his sleeve - I'm going to want... Badly...

Especially if the latest roumor I heard is true...

Vista Sidebar

We all know that Microsoft has ripped off most of it's features from OS X... Enough about that... But there is one feature, I cannot help remembering Microsoft sporting even in Win95... The sidebar.

Adobe Lightroom: First thoughts

Now, who would've guessed... Adobe wants to compete with Apple Aperture... Adobe has now released “Lightroom” in it's first public beta... And I'm 100% blown away from my first impression...
