FSJ: Does it matter?

| | Comments (0)

I didn’t want to know. I think very few wanted to, really. But now that we do know who Fake Steve Jobs is – does it matter?

Well, the short answer is: Only if it does for FSJ (or Daniel Lyons).

I think John Gruber sums it up nicely: “My hope is that [the blog] just keeps going, unchanged.”. In other words: if Lyons is still able to be as blunt and honest, even without the anonymity (ie. has very large balls) – no, it does not matter.

If, however, he feels he needs to consider every, or any, thing he writes in the context of ‘how does this reflect on myself and Forbes’ – Fake Steve will die, and it will matter.

We’ll wait and see, but for now I certainly hope for big balls in Boston.
