Worst Use of Comic Sans, Ever?

Comic Sans in the courtroom

I don’t know if I should laugh hard about this, bang my head repeatedly against the wall, or simply become enraged, and write angry letters.

Appearently, things have gone downhill for British typography since the 1800s, and now Comic Sans is being used in UK courtrooms, to write the oath on!

And which trial is it that is so light and fun and fluffy, that it calls for Microsofts typographical rape-victim to be used? The Baha Mousa-trial, regarding an Iraqi man who was alledgedly beaten to death by British soldiers. Asshats!

Any use of Comic Sans is a crime against typography - and design in general :-)

PS. Nice site by the way! Well done.

Agreed..! And that horrid thing above the Comic Sans isn’t that much better, either…

Not only is it Arial, the bastard child of good typography (Helvetica) and sloppy craftmanship (Microsoft) — all topped off with mechanical underlining and crappy kerning… Blah!

PS. Thanks, for the compliment!

Alas! Comic Sans MS has infiltrated even the judicial proceedings of the United Kingdom.

As if things are any better in the US ….

By the way, fantastic redesign: completely made my day. Your attention to typography shines here.
