Are You Listening, Google?

Firstly I’d like to add some better design to Google. Lycos has great design, but lacks in usability and... well... search-capabilities. And rule #1 in search engines is: They need to deliver good search results. So please, Google, give us better design..!

Accesskeys to the people!

I want an accesskey for the ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’-links. Is this really too much to ask!? I promise you, with Google Video, Images, Blogger and Gmail on your servers, that is not what will bring your servers to a halt...

And if you honestly believe it is, then don&8217;t give it to me, fine. But why on earth did you omit it from the Accessible Search!? It’s in the fucking name for crying out loud!

Why on earth did Google omit this?!

Plagiarism Image Search

I want an image search where I can upload an image, and have the search engine crawl the web, comparing my image to other images on the web, using some sort of an algorithm to find other people using that image.

I want this feature equipped with a slider, that lets me choose how accurate the algorithm will be. So if I’m looking for other people using my copyrighted image on their pages (but not hotlinking it), I can set it for images that look just like mine.

If I have an image that I know is a humoristic take on another picture (a Mona Lisa-parody, for instance), but don’t remember what image it’s supposed to look like, I just set the search engine to look for images that look somewhat like mine.

There’d be other uses as well... If I for instance have an image, that I’m not sure weather or not I have the rights to use or not — I might not even know where I got it from, I’ll just load it up, click a few buttons and get right back to the source...

Now, how hard could that be?
