I’ve been very patient, for very long now, but now I’m just plain angry...
How come the Independent Online have to look like something that came out of the design lab at Microsoft in 1997?!
There are so many greatly designed newssites today - the Independent shouldn’t have to look like that! The Independent is known to be one of the best designed newspapers in the world - now then, why?!
PLEASE! I beg you... Take a look at newssites like the New York Times, BBC, IHT, Newsvine, CBS, Telegraph, Reuters, Times, CNN, Yahoo! and CBC - and do something!
...please?
Other newssites that could need a little makeover is of course Guardian Unlimited, FOX (of course) and Washington Post just looks awfully boring and unfinished to me...

Yes it is… And the Indy looks sooooo good in print (although they’ve redesigned, and gone for way too many borders and frames for my liking - and this rather bad Bodoni-style serif… But then again - the “Sun” typeface (LucasFonts) is so dropdead gorgeous, I’ve nearly forgiven them…)
