The Pope in Auschwitz

| | Comments (29)

I must say, the pope’s visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau has really made me respect him alot more. Both the pope’s speech, the way he entered the gates of the consentration camp, alone by foot - and also the great live-production of the whole thing strikes me as truly astonishing.

The whole thing so far peaked, however during a long sequence with classical music, mixed with shots from the camp, right before the pope’s speech,- which even made the BBC translator cry.
