Don't mess with Texas!

George W. Bush has now offered a budget which leaves the United States with less money to deal with social issues, and more for defense.

I can understand that... It's a hella-o-lot more fun to bomb stuff, as a government, than to deal with problems that may cause your citizens to bomb stuff...

Also, your president has filed a legislation allowing Texas ranchers to breed endangered species... ...for trophy hunting!

To quote one of the animal rights activists that made his statement to the bbc:

These animals have never been in the wild... You're not hunting them! You're just shooting them

I'm not much of an animal activist (most of them actually don't even like me), but even I can see that that “jus' ain' rait”...
