BBC World Is Changing

| | Comments (0)
The BBC is currently changing the “look and feel” of BBC World. For the time being the changes are minor, and the BBC has made no big deal of it, so perhaps I should?
Here are some of the changes that's been made:

- The color of the globe in the intro has been slightly altered. It's now blood red... Symbolic?
- The color of the tickerhead (right below the BBC World logo) has been changed
- A BBC logo has been added to each newsitem in the ticker
- A slight change of typeface in the ticker as well
- The title at the end butterfly of “The World Today” has been moved
- The studio butterfly in the “World Business Report” has been changed

My guess is that there are also major changes ahead for the “World Business Report”, content-wise. BBC is currently doing a survey on the content of the show, and judging by the questions, there are plans to add both a financial debate, a daily and an in-depth look at an unknown line of business...

We're looking forward to it all.. But when are we going to see an online upgrade, making BBC World.com look like a real website?! --------
